Boston Yoga Teacher Training - 200 Hour

A space to grow, to heal, and to come home to yourself.

As the Bhagavad Gita reminds us:
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”

This is more than a certification.
It’s an invitation to the path of yoga, one that extends far beyond the mat.

Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Boston is designed to guide you through both the practical skills of teaching and the personal transformation that yoga makes possible. Rooted in tradition but grounded in real life, this program blends movement, science, philosophy, and community in a way that feels supportive, empowering, and deeply human.

Whether your goal is to teach or simply to deepen your practice, you will leave with the tools to lead, live, and connect with more intention and attention both on and off the mat.

A Note from Krysta-Lyn

"My 200 hour yoga teacher training was the best investment and decision I ever made for myself. I believe a transformational yoga teacher training does not just teach you how to teach poses on the mat, it teaches you how to help yourself and others, and how to apply yoga philosophy to your life. It feels like part practical training, part self-discovery, and part deeply supportive, shared human experience. The friends and community I made in my teacher training program are still some of my closest friends and support systems today. This practice is a life long gift."

A NOTE FROM SARAH

"I began my first teacher training more than 15 years ago in Los Angeles as a way to deepen my own practice, spend time with my teachers, and be in community with others on a similar path. What I couldn’t have anticipated was the profound journey it would open—one that has shaped not only how I teach, but how I live.

Yoga has changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. It has supported me through challenge, growth, and transformation, and continues to guide me each day.

Over time, yoga has become more than something I practice or teach—it is a way of being. Everything becomes part of the practice. Everything becomes a teacher.

I remain, always, a student.”

Meet your Teachers

Krysta-Lyn Martinelli

Krysta-Lyn found refuge in the combination of yoga, counseling, and community after the loss of her mother in 2013. Her work is deeply rooted in her lived experience—as a human who, like so many others, has known loss and grief.

Believing that yoga saved her life, Krysta-Lyn has been continually inspired by the community it has brought into her world—friends who have become family and a practice that shapes not just her time on the mat, but the way she lives every day. For her, yoga is a way of living, not just a series of poses, and this philosophy informs everything she teaches and shares.

Overcome by the immense sense of peace yoga could provide, she immersed herself in her practice, discovering that life truly exists between the inhale and the exhale.

Driven to share her passion, Krysta-Lyn earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from South Boston Yoga in January 2019. Later that year, she left the world of finance in pursuit of a more balanced, healing-focused life. She went on to receive her Reiki Master Certification and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in May 2022 and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts.

She began working under the name “Krysta-Lyn Yoga and Reiki” during this transition and established Radiate Wellness LLC in 2022. In November 2024, she opened her first physical space—Summer Street Wellness in South Boston—which a friend lovingly calls her “soul’s project.”

Her brand’s signature yellow honors her late mother, who always said she “radiated like the sun” when she wore it. Her dearest friends and family call her their sunshine, and she hopes to help others find what makes them RADIATE.

Sarah Beston

Sarah is a teacher, somatic practitioner, writer, and educator whose work is rooted in the living practice of yoga—an embodied path of awareness, presence, and deep listening. Through her teachings, she guides others in reconnecting with their true selves and shaping lives that feel aligned and true.

Sarah is the former owner of The Greenhouse, a yoga and wellness studio in Palos Verdes, California. Her work blends ancient wisdom with modern science, drawing from yoga, somatics, mindfulness, and psychology. She creates safe, supportive spaces and weaves together breath, movement, and awareness to support deeper connection to the inner wisdom of the body.

She leads teacher trainings in Yin Yoga and somatic, trauma-informed practice, and has developed comprehensive training manuals to support these teachings. With more than 15 years of teaching experience, she has guided students and teachers internationally and has contributed to the online platform YogaAnytime, where she has taught and produced content alongside teachers from around the world.

In addition to her work in the yoga space, Sarah teaches entrepreneurship and innovation at Columbia University and African Leadership University (ALU), bringing an approach that integrates embodied awareness with mindful leadership.

Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University with a concentration in Spirituality and Mind-Body Practice, and has completed advanced training in trauma-informed yoga, somatic therapies, spiritual healing, Ayurveda, and mindfulness-based practices.
